Xenoblade directors Tetsuya Takahashi and Koh Kojima have been explaining how they designed their Wii RPG to appeal to both Japanese and western RPG fans.
Xenoblade Chronicles is out this Friday and has been on the receiving end of many rave reviews. According to Takahashi, this might be because it was designed for a wide audience.
"We designed the game to appeal to people who enjoy so-called 'Text-RPGs', common in Japan, and people who prefer the types of RPG popular in the west," said Takahashi. "Xenoblade lovingly combines elements from both."
